Joke of the day: Provided by Dan:
A blond man shouts frantically into the phone, “My wife is pregnant and her contractions are only two minutes apart!”
“Is this her first child?” asks the doctor
“No!” he shouts, “this is her husband!”

A blond is driving home, drunk as a skunk. Suddenly she has to swerve to avoid a tree, then another, then another.
A cop pulls her over, so she tells the cop about all the trees in the road.
The cop says, “That’s your air freshener swinging about!”

* Guest Speaker: Greg Reibman, President Newton Needham Chamber of Commerce. Reibman was formerly publisher of the Newton TAB, Needham Times and 15 other Boston-area newspapers and vice president of content and partnerships for GateHouse Media New England’s WickedLocal.com. He has also worked at the Boston Herald and WGBH. Recognized as an expert in organizational leadership and digital media, Reibman also has a long history with the NNCC as a former member of its Board of Directors and as a member of the chamber’s Economic Development Committee. Greg started with the Chamber in May. The Chamber has experienced some turnover in recent years and he is focused on building membership. Currently a staff of two. They are working on events and programs. On October 10, the Chamber is hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness dinner at Brae Burn Country Club, with Bob Lobel sitting on a panel. They also have a “Buddy Group” that meets every Monday offering networking support for those in job transition. They are also looking at developing a Shop Local program similar to the program promoted by the Needham Business Association.
