Bill led us in the pledge of allegiance, Karen led us in "God Bless America" and Darrell led us in prayer.

GUESTS:  Paulina Gerstner, Rotary Exchange student who will be going to Spain and will have an exchange student visiting her for 4 weeks.  Chris Teachout, a prospective Rotarian and Rich Forte's wife, Kathleen.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: The Needham Street Fair is this Saturday, June 6^th and we will have a table to sell Wine Tasting and Raffle tickets.  On June 9^th, the Scholarship winners and their families will be attending.  The BBQ is June 16^th, location TBA.

50/50 RAFFLE WINNER:  Paulina Gerstner just missed the 50/50 and a chance to help fund her trip to Madrid.

Humor: No Humor

Induction:  Deb inducted our newest member, Rich Forte who brought his wife, Kathleen to the ceremony.  They own a Florist shop in Westwood, and very generously brought a floral arrangement for each table.  There were 4 lucky raffle winners!  Thank you for the flowers.  Rich has been very active volunteering in his community and the Needham Rotary Club is looking forward to working with Rich in the future.            

Speaker:  Doug Detweiler from the Concord Club.  He was a GSE team leader for a team that visited the Philippines.  He showed a video that gave us a great opportunity to enjoy the benefits of being a GSE team leader.  Doug spoke about other Rotary programs and the need to find team members as well as team leaders for this unique program.
