 Announcements:  

  • Longtime Rotarian Gerry Goodman passed away Thursday, November 1st. Funeral services are at 2 pm today. Gerry was a great Rotarian and will be sorely missed.
  • Chuck Byers mother passed away on Monday of this week.
  • BID gala update – 535 people attended; Rotary board looked great! Total gross for the event was appx. $370,000
  • Our Rotary Pancake Breakfast was held yesterday. It was a great event, and we even got a group picture with ‘Wally’. Details to follow.
  • Dictionaries – no delivery on 10/29 due to storm; next to Mitchell next week.
  • Thank you to Dan Tibma for Thanksgiving pick up and Karen Wetmore for her help; Bill Paulson will be in kitchen; pies from Wingate and turkeys from Roche Brothers
  • 11/8 from 4-6:00 pm volunteer fair @ library
  • 11/17  YMCA Giving Gals @ Powers Hall
  • 11/20 no lunch meeting since it will be the Rotary Football Dinner with Wellesley at Needham Sheraton at 6:00 pm with Mike Riley.

 Happy $$$:  No storm damage; Needham YMCA open for showers; Darrell off to Thailand for 4 weeks; great trip to Revere Beach; thank you for  Rotary table t BID gala; thank you for having kids which finally paid off since daughter was able to go to mailbox; good turn out today; thank you for no storm damage and leaves down.

50:50: Looking for queen of diamonds: While Rick Davis held the winning ticket, true to form he did not pull the winning card. The Pot is at $320.
