**Needham Rotary meeting 3/19/2013**
Held At Briarwood Nursing Home

President Charles opened our meeting with a word that this would be an informal meeting as we are dedicated to getting the plants out to the Nursing homes around town after a quick lunch.
Mellissa’s son, Alex led (some of us) in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Bob Cocks hoped to lead us in America the Beautiful, but was too full of Lobster to do so.

This week we met at Wingate Nursing Home, so we could eat quickly, and then split into groups to distribute ‘Daffodils’ to every resident of the 5 nursing homes in Needham:

-Avita Nursng Home
-Avery Manor
-Briarwood Nursing Home
-Daystar
-Wingate

There were about 24 of us to organize and distribute the plants. All in all, we distributed some 450 plants to the residents. All of the plants are donated by Roche Brothers! We have been doing this for a number of years.

Our thanks to Wingate for putting on a great lunch!
If all goes well, there will be a photo journal on our web site with pictures, and, a picture on our Facebook page of this activity.
