 Humor:

 Dan shared the following story-:

A friend tells the blonde, "Christmas is on a Friday this year."

The blonde says, "Let's hope it's not the 13th."

A blonde goes to the vet with her goldfish.  "I think it's got epilepsy," she tells him.

The vet tales a look and says, "It seems calm enough to me."

The blonde says, "I haven't taken it out of the bowl yet."

 Louise shared the following:

A married couple in their early 60's are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant.  Suddenly a tiny yet beautiful fairy appeared on their table.  She said, "For being such an exemplary married couple and for being living to each other for all this time, I will grant you each a wish."  The wife answered, "Oh, I want to travel round the world with my darling husband.  The fairy waved her magic wand and - poof - two tickets for the Queen Mary II appeared in her hands.

The husband thought for a moment: "Well, this is all very romantic, but an opportunity like this will never come again.  I'm sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me."

The wife and the fiar were deeply disappointed, but a wish is a wish.  So the fairy waved her magic wand and - poof - the husband became 92 years old.

The moral of the story:  Men who are ungrateful should remember fairies are female.

Presentation:

Debbie and Heather from the Needham Community Farms displayed what they are doing for the community starting next to the Newman school and presently at the old Nike site at the end of Pine St.  They offer fresh grown produce, educational programs, site development for farming, community involvement, etc.  This program is growing within Needham and they should be applauded for their efforts.

Reminder: Next weeks meeting is the Annual Needham-Wellesley Football Dinner, which will be held Tuesday at 6 PM at the Sheraton. Guests will include the football teams and stafff from the Needham and Wellesley football teams who play on thanksgiving Day. Our gurst speaker will be radio broadcaster Mike Riley. This will be a great event!
