**NEEDHAM ROTARY CLUB NEWSLETTER**

There is no club meeting this week, so it seems like a good idea to let folks now of several items of interest:

 

NEEDHAM ROTARY IN 4TH OF JULY PARADE: while inconvenienced by the early rain, our club did have a float in the July 4th Parade! The picture is courtesy of Needham Patch. Karen and Greg Cronin look great,  but let’s not forget the others who worked it as well: Charles Nelson, Bill Rosenthal, Glenn Davis, Ken Davis, Rachel Yurik, Ros Fisher and Dan Tibma. Thanks all!!

 

MEMORIAL PARK: Ron Sockol continues his support of the Memorial Park garden. He weeded last weekend, and just yesterday, Joey form Hillcrest Gardens, planted the plants which were on our 4th of July float! Good job to all!!

 

NEEDHAM FEATURED ON TV: Channel 2 is going to have a show: Big Little Town: The Story of Needham on Channel 2 Thursday July 19th at 10 pm. It will be narrated by Needham resident and broadcaster Natalie Jacobson. This could be great!
