Scholarship Presentations:  Lois made some nice opening remarks for the scholarship presentation.  The selection committee was comprised of Lois, Rick and Dan.  Lois introduced the recipients, Matt Lerner and Mulin Xiong.  Both recipients spoke briefly about their experiences at Needham High School.  Matt will be attending the University of Rochester in the fall and Mulin will be attending Dartmouth College in the fall. George spoke about the scholarship fund and its beginnings in 1946.  With today’s recipients included, Needham Rotary has given 108 scholarships over 61 years.  Currently two recipients receive $10,000 each, spread over 4 years ($2500/year).  Assistant Principal Jonathan Bourne spoke about how dedicated this year’s recipients have been to Needham High School.  Bill Rosenthal made some very thoughtful closing remarks.
