 Announcements:
First, Gary Donelan announced (by giving ten Happy Dollars), that next Monday he starts as a branch manager at the Middlesex Savings Bank in Franklin. After 10 years in Needham Rotary as a truly ‘go to’ person, this opportunity has come up to manage a branch which is 2 and a half times as busy as Needham, and 25 minutes closer to home. We will all miss him and his many contributions, but he promises to come back occasionally. Everyone gave him their best wishes!!!

George Hoffmeister recommended that each of us donate a minimum of $25 to the Memorial Scholarship Fund in memory of Bob Day, given that we are awarding High School Scholarships next week, and recognition of Bob Day the following week.

June 5 we will award Rotary Acholarships
June 12 is Recognition for Bob Day, and awarding Paul Harris fellowships
June 19 BBQJ
une 26 induction of Charles and other officers for the 2012/2013 Rotary Year

 Happy $: Great Memorial Day-many; Welcome Eric-many! Go Celtics-many.

Joke: A little girl asked her mother, “How did the human race appear?”

The mother answered, ‘God made Adam and Eve and they had children and so that’s how all mankind was made.’

Two days later the girl asked her father the same question. The father answered, ‘Many years ago there were apes from which the human race evolved’.

The confused girl returned to her mother and said, ‘Mom, how is possible that you told me the human race was created by God, and Dad said they developed from apes?

The mother said, ‘Well dear, it is very simple. I told you about my side of the family and your father told you about his!’

Program:Today’s program was the induction of Dr. Eric Roseen, who practices in Wellesley. Eric has been a consistent visitor, and we are delighted he has decided to join with us!

Eric is from a small town in North Dakota, and attended Minnesota State University at Moorhead, where he studied biology and chemistry, and was on the wrestling team. He then went on to the University of Western States n Portland OR, where he obtained his Doctor of chiropractic degree. He interned at Jordan Hospital in Jordan, and he decided to stay in the Boston area.

His hobbies include scuba diving, swimming, running, photography and cooking/eating.

He got a resounding round of applause, and we are all delighted to be able to welcome him to Rotary!!!
