She also is a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University where she earned her Certified Trust Financial Advisor designation.

She is the COO of First Financial in Wellesley, where she oversees the Rust Administration, Trust Operations and Compliance and provides legal oversight and has previously held jobs at Hale Wilmer, LPL Financial Services. She and her husband and two children live here in Needham.

She is active in the Greater Boston Food Bank, and The Sam’s Fund, and World Hunger.

Next, Karen talked with us about ‘Crutches for Africa’, where the founder Dave Talbot of Colorado wants to ship containers full of used crutches, folding wheel chairs, canes and folding walkers to Africa. We then saw a 10 minute interview on the topic.

I imagine we will be collecting these items for our African neighbors. See www.crutches4africa.org  for more details.
