Guest Speaker: Mike Rosenberg, Needham Historical Society.

He talked about the "Industries of Newton", specifically the knitting industry dating back to 1840- 1890.  Members of the industrial revolution such as Carter, Thorpe and Wye provided financial resources to help the Town grow, prosper and unite as one from three separate enclaves.  He is coming out with a book, "Knitters of Needham", published by Arcadia Publishing (www.arcadiapublishing.com).
