Needham Rotary Club is collecting used crutches, canes, collapsible wheelchairs and walkers for the Crutches 4 Africa program.
Needham Rotary Club is collecting used crutches, canes, collapsible wheelchairs and walkers for the Crutches 4 Africa program. Drop off the items at our booth on the Needham Common during the Street Fair this Saturday, June 2nd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m, or call Karen Wetmore 781-444-8161 to arrrange to drop off at her office at 60 Dedham Ave. ground floor.
The items will be sent to pre-determined areas of need in Africa, where they will be given to people who have been affected by illness or accident and give them the opportunity for mobility again, a basic human right. It costs our donors nothing except a little time to drop the items off and spreads good will half way around the world!
